HNL participates in Accelerator Workshop Series, an initiative aimed at strategically matching startups and technology providers with leading corporations in the various business sectors. HNL demonstrates ways to use the PixieEngine technology in the various participating business sectors. One key area of interest was the ability to track personnel and moving trolleys, buggies in the airport. We now have our microSpotcast. They provide a quick, easy and low cost deployment of Spotcast within indoor environments. The microSpotcast integrates customer and installation feedback of the complexities associated with indoor installations. Indoor installations are often problematic due to the large number of obstructions and reflections caused by office furniture, walls and partitions. Radio signals are not able to penetrate many of these objects found in an office and as a result errors are introduced into object localization. HNL’s Relay and Gateway Spotcast utilize a robust antenna design to provide the best possible range and accuracy possible but are unable to compensate for these errors. The microSpotcast was designed to augment the existing Relay and Gateway Spotcast in indoor locations. Key Benefits: · Low cost · Low power · Powered by standard USB hub or power outlet. · Indoor range of 30-50 meters. |
